Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 22 October 2026.
These terms explain use of smartcases.org and the process of requesting a quotation from Smart Cases. They apply to visitors, profile users and enquiries. The particular specification, price and performance of a sale are agreed in writing for that order; mandatory consumer rights always remain applicable.
Trader and contact
Smart Cases Ltd. (Смарт Кейсис ЕООД), UIC 109598404, VAT number BG109598404, registered office: 326 Tsar Osvoboditel Street, Block 120, Floor 6, Apartment 20, 2500 Kyustendil, Bulgaria. Email: sales@smartcases.site. Telephone: +359 888 800 204. The registered office is not automatically a collection, workshop or returns address; agree the destination with us before sending equipment or goods.
Catalogue and nature of the service
Smart Cases designs and manufactures Flightcases to order and supplies loose hardware on request. The catalogue contains past builds, illustrative configurations and example parts. Descriptions identify what can be discussed and made or supplied; they do not establish live stock, a fixed price or guaranteed availability.
Sending a form, chat message or configuration is a request for information or a quotation. It is not a paid order and creates no payment obligation. There is no online checkout or card-payment step in this enquiry process. The acknowledgement that a request was received is not acceptance of a manufacturing order.
Quotations and agreement
The team checks the requirement and agrees a written offer with the customer. Before committing, check the specification, quantity, currency, price including the applicable tax treatment, any additional charges, payment/deposit arrangements, delivery method, destination, timing and the offer's validity. Any advance or milestone is stated in that offer; these website terms do not impose a universal non-refundable deposit.
An order is formed through the parties' written agreement on the offer and its acceptance procedure. Where a deposit is a condition for starting work, that condition must be stated in the agreed offer. Work starts according to the agreed conditions. Changes to dimensions, materials, quantity or delivery after agreement require confirmation of their effect on price and time. Existing orders are not changed retroactively by a later website update.
Specifications, measurements and suitability
Provide accurate equipment models, dimensions, weight, accessories, access needs and intended transport/use conditions. Photos and third-party links are reference material; they may not reveal exact measurements or loads. The final specification should identify the relevant internal/external measurements, clearance, padding, fittings and any agreed tolerances. Do not treat a manufacturer's model name as sufficient proof that every version fits.
The configurator's drawing, dimensions, weight estimates, suggested interior and generated preview are preliminary aids. They require technical review and agreement before manufacture. A preview is not an engineering certificate or a load, waterproofness, impact, aviation or other certification. Ask for any required performance or certification expressly; only confirmed characteristics form part of the agreed specification. This does not exclude the trader's responsibility for the work or for its own advice.
Profiles and AI tools
Keep access to the email used for your profile secure and do not share login codes. New profiles currently require a Bulgarian telephone number and registration from Bulgaria. If access fails or you are elsewhere, use the quote form, email or telephone. Published limits, verification and rate controls may apply to prevent misuse and keep the service available.
The AI chat can misunderstand descriptions, images and equipment information. Its output is an aid to discussion, not a binding offer or final design. Human confirmation is required for commercial and production decisions. Do not upload unlawful material, personal information about others without a lawful reason, or content you have no right to use. A supplied brand, image or link does not give Smart Cases or the user rights to reproduce a third party's protected design.
Payment, delivery and inspection
Payment method, any advance, delivery costs, production timing and collection/delivery arrangements are specified in the accepted offer. Estimates become contractual commitments only as agreed. If circumstances affect an agreed time, the parties should agree the appropriate response; statutory remedies for delay remain available.
Check the goods and packaging on receipt and inform us of visible damage or a specification issue promptly, with the order reference and useful photographs. A courier record can help establish transport damage. Failure to notice or report a defect at the instant of delivery does not automatically waive mandatory consumer rights. For consumer deliveries, statutory rules on transfer of risk apply.
Consumer withdrawal and made-to-order goods
If you are a consumer buying at a distance, a 14-day statutory withdrawal right generally applies to eligible standard goods, starting from physical receipt by you or your nominated recipient other than the carrier. Under Article 57(3) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act, the right does not apply to goods genuinely made to your specifications or clearly personalised. A label such as “on request” or choosing a standard stocked item does not by itself establish that exception. The relevant status must be clear before an order is agreed.
Where withdrawal applies, send an unambiguous statement to sales@smartcases.site before the deadline. You can use: “I withdraw from the contract for [goods], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name: [...]. Address: [...]. Order reference: [...]. Date: [...].” This wording is optional. Return the goods without undue delay and within 14 days of notifying withdrawal, to the address agreed with us. The consumer bears the direct return cost only where informed of that obligation before the contract; any special return cost for goods not normally returnable by post must also be disclosed in advance.
For a valid statutory withdrawal, payments are reimbursed within 14 days of the notice, including the least expensive standard outward delivery offered, using the original payment means unless expressly agreed otherwise without extra fees. Reimbursement may be withheld until the goods or evidence of return is received, where the law permits. You are liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning, subject to the law's conditions.
The custom-made exception affects the no-reason withdrawal right; it does not remove rights for defects, non-conformity, non-delivery or other breach. A business buyer does not automatically have the consumer 14-day withdrawal right; cancellation is governed by the agreed contract and applicable law.
Conformity, complaints and remedies
Consumers have the mandatory legal guarantee for conformity, normally two years from delivery for new goods. If goods are defective or do not match the agreed specification, contact sales@smartcases.site or +359 888 800 204 with the order details, problem and available evidence. Statutory remedies may include repair or replacement and, under the legal conditions, a price reduction or termination/refund. Exercising a statutory remedy is not made conditional on buying an additional guarantee.
Any additional commercial guarantee must be expressly provided with its terms and does not replace statutory rights. We do not publish one universal commercial warranty for every custom design. Business orders follow the applicable contract and law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or removes the legal consequences of the trader's own fault.
Images, brands and content
Past-build products and illustrative examples are distinguished in the catalogue. An example configuration or illustrative image is not proof of a delivered project. Third-party brand/model names describe equipment compatibility or the subject of an enquiry and do not imply endorsement, authorised-dealer status or partnership.
Site content remains protected by the applicable intellectual-property rights. You may link to public pages and make lawful short quotations with clear attribution to Smart Cases and the source URL. Do not copy substantial content or photographs for reuse without permission or another legal basis. Material supplied for an enquiry is used to assess and fulfil that enquiry; sending it does not transfer ownership of your rights to us.
Privacy, availability and responsible use
Personal-data handling is described in the privacy policy and cookie policy. Do not attempt to bypass authentication, access another person's requests, overload the service or submit malicious files. Technical interruptions and maintenance may occur; contact the team if a submission fails. An on-screen preview alone is not proof that an enquiry was delivered.
Applicable law and dispute resolution
Bulgarian law applies, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protection applicable under the law of their habitual residence where relevant. Jurisdiction follows the applicable mandatory rules; these terms do not force a consumer to bring all claims only in the trader's home court.
Please contact us first if you would like help resolving a problem. Consumers may also contact the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection at kzp.bg and obtain information about the appropriate conciliation commission or other competent alternative-dispute-resolution body. Participation and competence follow the applicable procedure; this text does not claim membership in a particular scheme. The EU online dispute resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025 and is not offered as a complaints channel. Access to the competent courts is preserved.
